I'm Alvin.
I'm a CS grad student at Georgia Tech studying machine learning. I enjoy building projects around data, AI, and sports analytics, usually starting from random ideas or things I find interesting. Recently, I've been spending most of my time learning new AI tools, working on prediction models, and building full-stack applications while exploring new technologies along the way.

I started out studying Biology at UC Irvine before eventually switching into computer science. Over time I found myself enjoying building and working with data much more, which led me to pursue my M.S. in Computer Science at Georgia Tech with a focus on machine learning.
Personally, I'm a big Warriors fan, spend way too much time following basketball, and enjoy playing billiards. I also started cutting hair during COVID and still do it because I genuinely the art behind it. Most of the time I'm either working out, building side projects, playing baskebtall, or learning something new that caught my interest.
